No sponsorship is available for this position.We are currently looking for a highly-motivated and energetic Air Compliance and Permitting Consultant to service the air permitting and compliance needs of our industrial and institutional clients. The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills required to lead and execute complex air compliance projects, the business development skills to develop new clients and project opportunities, and the interpersonal and communication skills to enhance existing client and regulator relationships. Essential job functions include:Preparing federal and state air permit application materialsPreparing and quantifying emissions estimates, including emission calculation spreadsheets and databases for stationary and mobile sourcesPreparing and assisting with the submission of Tier II and Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) reports complying with the Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)Air dispersion modeling supportConduct air permitting/compliance regulatory reviewsPrepare plans, reports, permit applications, and other project documents; lead technical evaluations of data commensurate with experienceUse prescribed and established methods to perform specific environmental engineering and scientific assignmentsProvide regular and consistent communications to clients, regulators, and project staff on key issues and developmentsGain and share knowledge through participation in technical societies and/or attendance at internal and external programs, to a degree consistent with individual and divisional goalsBe a leader in Ramboll's safety culture, ensuring that our employees work safelyEngage with other senior practitioners within Ramboll to advance our brands (energy, water, environment, and health) and standing with external stakeholdersSkills & QualificationsB.S. in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering, minimally, with an Environmental Consultant background.8-15 years of experience, with preference in the environmental consulting field.Ideal candidate has knowledge and experience in air regulatory compliance, permitting, and dispersion modeling, etc. Other environmental compliance experiences will be considered.Highly motivated, team-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment, with the desire and skills to provide client, project, and staff management functions.Excellent written/verbal communication skills are required.Occasional local travel (5-10%), as required.Welcome to our Environment & Health divisionRamboll develops innovative, scientifically sound solutions that help increase liveability by reducing pollution and restoring natural environments.
