This includes the structured follow up of tasks (action tracker) and preparation of scheduled business reviews (WBR, MBR). The position engages in sovereign data analysis to support the manager or teamleader with empirically profound decision proposals. Being mainly focussed on executing daily operations work qualifies the position for cross-functional job rotation amongst the different operations areas of the control tower. Understanding end-to-end supply chain processes based on experience from daily operations, this role supports junior peers and operations stakeholders in fostering operations excellence and continuous improvement.Compile, structure and visualize operations insights from department specific data sources to support the manager / teamleader in taking profound decisions.Coordinate and hold weekly and monthly performance reviews with warehouse (incl. forecasting) and transport providers (OTTR performance).Sovereignly manage the daily operations with the warehouse and transport providers through a structured discussion and follow up of tasks (e.g. action tracker).Rotate and backup cross-functional tasks within the control tower and support junior peers in onboarding and troubleshooting.Answer logistics related questions from sales colleagues and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process. Engage in troubleshooting and follow up inquiries in a structured way until the case has been resolved.Process and arrange book-ins with customers and schedule deliveries to arrive on-time.Advise sales teams on available logistics services to meet specific customer shipping requirements (e.g. route coding).Maintain and coordinate load planning processes with the warehouse and transport provider through supply chain collaboration platforms.Takes the necessary steps to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the status of shipments by checking multiple sources such as carrier web tracking, load planning files, excel reports or leveraging direct contact to the forwarder.Maintain reporting with shipment related data such as ETAs, ATAs and non-conformities based on predefined reason codes. Ensure the report is populated with the most recent available data to enable proper KPI-based performance measurements and JSOX compliant revenue recognition.Identify return inquiries and process them until goods are received back at the warehouse and the customer has received his credit. Process claims against third party logistics providers using the SAP Claim Handling System and follow up the created Accounts Receivables.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Formal education as logistics specialist, or equivalent working experienceData structuring and analysis experience with various tools (Excel or BI Tools)Minimum 5+ years experience in working with data from ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.)Advanced in working with MS O365 Suite inkl. MS Teams / Sharepoint / OutlookAdvanced Excel skills incl.
