We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team and take ownership of our data analysis and reporting efforts. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a passion for transforming complex data sets into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, operations, and finance, to provide strategic recommendations and drive data-related initiatives. Your expertise in data analytics and data visualization will contribute to the success of our business and help us make data-driven decisions.
What You'll DoParticipate in Red Canary's data architecture and governance effortsCreate & maintain single source of truth for enterprise data dictionaryBecome subject matter expert in end to end enterprise data flowLead data council meetings while keeping accurate agenda, notes and action items from meetingsProvide cross functional Program management support for data changes across different systemsCollaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop effective data-driven solutions to address themDesign, implement, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to track and monitor key business metricsIdentify and analyze data quality issues, and implement solutions to ensure accurate and reliable dataStay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics, and proactively share knowledge and insights with the teamMentor and provide guidance to junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growthWhat You'll BringBachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst , systems analyst or similar role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of databases and experience in querying and working with large datasetsProficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsExperience with FiveTran Experience with Salesforce/Intaact Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and distill actionable insightsStrong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholdersSelf-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a teamExperience with dbt data tools is a plusTargeted base salary: $125,000 - $135,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience
