If so, we invite you to become a key member of our dynamic team as a Senior Design Engineer (m/w/d) specializing in Medical Connectors & Cables.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop innovative new products and technologies to robust quality standards and in a manner consistent with business strategy and processesProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring that inspires project teams and team membersSupport, contribute to, and promote a safe work environmentLeverage industry, application, and technical expertise to mentor, guide, challenge, and grow team membersSupport creation and execution of technology and product roadmapsDevelop technology and process know-how needed to produce superior designsCreate detailed cable, connector, and contact designs that can be reliably sourced and manufactured to agreed performance and cost targetsLead and support cross functional design reviews including requirements definition, manufacturability assessments, and application of GD&TTranslate customer specifications into design, manufacturing, quality, and testing requirementsPerform root cause analyses utilizing established problem solving tools and methodologiesProactively identify project risks and mitigation plans to accelerate the development cycle and ensure delivery commitments are metFacilitate build and evaluation of functional and non-functional prototypes leveraging internal and external resourcesProvide technical support to organizational stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing and SalesSupport Sales and Marketing in preparing quotations and bid packagesDiversity & InclusionWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
