Our customer is one of the world's largest technology companies based in Silicon Valley with operations all over the world. On this project, we are working with bleeding-edge technologies to develop a high-performance data analytics platform, which handles petabytes of data. In addition to a strong technical background, the ideal candidate must possess outstanding interpersonal skills. The position requires excellence in communication, both written and verbal, including the ability to work well with stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years experience in designing, developing and deploying scalable enterprise web applications and services using Java/Spring technologiesB.S. in Computer Science or equivalentHands-on programming experience in Java/J2EE, building and deploying highly scalable REST APIs with deep understanding of Java, J2EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.Work closely with our business to understand their requirement, define the solution, develop POC's and demo the work inExperience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Hudson etcExperience in AWS / Cloud approaches is an added advantageOutstanding attention to details and commitment to excellence.Dedicated problem-solver who can work in a fast paced environment where multiple releases are a fact of lifeExperience collaborating with other team members in multiple teams diagnosing and debugging complex systems, and participating in investigating build, deployment and operational issuesCapable of working under pressure and tight deadlines to solve critical issues Responsibilities: Participate in the design and development of high-performance business applications, from requirements analysis to productionConstantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)Analyze and improve application performanceSearch for simple and robust solutions to complex tasksWork in an agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the keys to successCollaborate with a distributed team of developers, QA engineers, analysts What we offer: Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects.Work with a highly motivated and dedicated team.Benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, etc.Corporate social events.
