A REGULAR DAY AT WORK In this position you will work on new technologies and materials used for our food preservation appliances focusing on plastic components production (extrusion, vacuum forming, injection moulding), cost reduction as well as qualification of new materials and suppliers.
You will have a lot of interactions both internally and externally, including: Manufacturing Engineering, Process Laboratory, Model Workshop, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Global Connectivity &Technology laboratory.
Your duties will include: Support Purchasing strategy through activities with suppliers of plastic raw materialsSupport PTO laboratory in evaluating new liner materialsLead projects to develop new materials or new transformation technologiesSupport the model workshop in the production of prototypes using new liner gradesArrange, with process laboratories of plants , industrial trials to qualify new materials and new suppliersCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering in the validation and implementation of new technologies for the production of plastic componentsCollaborate with Product Care and Quality within projects of cost reduction and quality improvementYOU Team worker. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE University degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Material ScienceKnowledge of thermoplastic polymers5-year experience of at least one among the most used transformation technologies (extrusion, vacuum forming and injection mouldingGood knowledge of English language (ability to discuss technical subjects).Please kindly provide your CV in English.
