We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager whowill be responsible for developing marketing strategy and go to marketplans at a global level for our portfolios. This is a hands-on,multi-disciplinary and dynamic position, requiring close collaboration withthe product and engineering teams, content team, sales teams, as well asother marketing functions… all in support of Canonical'sgrowth.The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, technology marketingand the use of technology in marketing. They love to problem solve, get hands-on, experiment,measure and use automation to make daily life easier.This role sits in the marketing team reporting to the product marketinglead.Location: This role will be based remotely in theEMEA region.What your day will look likeBe responsible for go-to-market planning and execution for one ofCanonical's portfolios. Lead on content dissemination, campaign development and planning forproduct launches.You will lead on the development of compelling messaging andpositioning that emphasizes business value and connects with targetaudiences throughout the buying journeyConceiving and executing customer base communications and marketingprograms to upsell and cross sell into our large base of customersCollaborating with demand generation teams, utilizing data and insightsto create and improve strategies that drive traffic to our content,optimizing marketing funnelsWork with other teams to plan event, webinars and support paid andsocial media promotionCreate and execute content strategies that drive product interest andadoption with relevant target audiences Monitoring the competitive landscape to define product positioning thatdifferentiatesMentoring junior product marketing managers on marketing planning andexecution.What we are looking for in youExperience in a product marketing function for enterprise IT products(SaaS experience preferred)Passion for open source and product marketing Strong inter-personal management skills.Proven analytical skills, able to assess opportunities and makedecisions on ROI/advantages of programs & investments.Appetite to deliver strong results and innovation.Growth mindset – someone who is not afraid to think big and takeon risk.Willingness to roll up their sleeves.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changingenvironmentLove for diverse work assignments and the opportunity to try newapproachesPassion for mentorship and supporting more junior members.What we offer youYour base pay will depend on various factors including your geographicallocation, level of experience, knowledge and skills.
