About the role Second Nature is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer. This person will report to the Senior QA Manager; and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Second Nature's software products. The QA Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing comprehensive testing strategies, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The QA Engineer's expertise in testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and attention to detail will be critical in driving the success of our development projects. Key Job Responsibilities Review and validate requirements and technical specificationsDevelop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritizationLead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive test strategies for software productsDevelop and maintain automated test suites to streamline the testing process and improve efficiencyPerform manual testing when necessary, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testingCollaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality goals and requirementsIdentify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely mannerMentor and provide guidance to junior members and offshore members of the QA team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvementStay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software quality assurancePreferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in software quality assurance in an agile development environment, with a focus on automated testingExperience with web-based testing including Mobile and Native application testingStrong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNGExperience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScriptSolid understanding of software testing methodologies, including Agile and ScrumExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentWe get it.
