Located in our Torino facility, we have a fantastic opportunity as a Senior Software Quality Engineer. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and automation, coupled with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in driving the quality assurance process from conception to implementation.
The main responsibilities of this professional will be: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of software products.
Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
Provide timely and accurate feedback to developers and stakeholders on software quality and performance metrics.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
Who you are Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on setting up and maintaining automated test environments
Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Jenkins).
Hands-on experience with programming languages like Python.
Support the project team with complex bug analysis and integration issues by using Jira
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail, well organized and focused on achieving results by using Excel .
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is desirable.
