Descrizione della posizione lavorativa WTS R&A Studio Tributario is looking for a Senior Tax Advisor to enlarge its team.
The Tax Consultant will be involved in tax advisory activities, opinion drafting, researching tax laws including the planning, management, control, and submission of tax returns and similar fulfillments.
The Tax Consultant will be involved on multidisciplinary and cross-functional projects that cover transaction planning, tax advisory due diligence, tax accounting, disputes with tax authorities and international tax topics such as cross-border VAT, transfer pricing, Pillar Two, CFC.

Person Specifications: The ideal candidate is a team player who independently manages tax compliance for companies, permanent establishments, foreign entities with direct VAT identification in Italy, advises clients on Italian tax matters and is keen to apply his/her knowledge and competence at an international
level.
Responsibilities: • Provide leadership with respect to tax compliance and advisory with a great focus on international clients
• Facilitate and timely manage the preparation and review of accurate tax returns for international organisations and businesses using significant knowledge of VAT, local and international tax rules and regulations
• Manage compliance with tax laws in all tax aspects including VAT, corporate tax, transfer pricing, double taxation
• Support in tax advisory related to MNEs such as application of Double Taxation Conventions, EU Directives and CFC rules
• Discuss with clients their financial information and taxable income during meetings, ensure that they comply with their tax responsibilities including clarifications of tax-related concerns
• Ensure that the transfer pricing policy is up to date and appropriate agreements and approvals are in place to ensure compliance
• Improve taxation knowledge through communication and tax training where appropriate and provide support with various special tax related projects
• Coordinate a team of junior practitioners
Desired Skills and Experience • 5+ years of relevant corporate tax advisory and compliance experience
• MSc Economics/Accounting/Finance and CPA designation
• Extensive corporate tax knowledge incl. good practices in tax administration, strong knowledge of tax law code, compliance, and procedures for corporations, experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements
• Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with international stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a multigeographic team
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including sound presentational skills. English skills at B2 level or more
• Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities
• Interest in international tax matters
