With a presence in 38 countries across three continents and over 13,000 employees, our mission is to contribute to society through the continuous development of superior rail transport solutions.AccountabilitiesD uring the bid and project development phases (D&B, Design and Build phase):S upport the integration of Telecom subsystems, with special focus on PIS (Passenger Information Systems) , ECP (Emergency Call Point System) and Radio systems ;Support the identification, the management and the fulfilment of the contractual requirementsPrepare the sub system requirements specification;Support the preparation of the Conceptual Design, Detail Design and Installation Design for the above subsystems based on the requirements analysis;Support the i dentif ication and resolve the interfaces with the main internal and external stakeholders ( e.g. Signaling , C ivil W ork , Rolling Stock, SCADA, HSE, RAMS, QA, etc. )Guarantee the continuous updating of the standard design in accordance to the technology innovationPrepare functional and performance test specification sPrepare configuration templates based on the standard designSupport the Factory Acceptance tests and the FIT (Factory Integration Test) activitiesSupport the type test during the start-up of the commissioning activities, through a proper coaching of onsite resourcesSupervise the proper execution of the commissioning and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) activitiesSupport system tests during trial run.During revenue service phase (O&M phase) ,s upport O&M department for L2/L3 maintenance activities.s upport O&M department to manage obsolescence of the Telecom solutions, by proposing new state of the art solutions aligned with the market trends and compliant with railways requirements.Required Skills/KnowledgeUp to 5 years' experience in the telecom field requiredKnowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.) .Good knowledge of the disciplines of telecommunications, electrical engineering, electronics and basic knowhow of mechanics is required.Good knowledge of Networking systems (switching, wired and wireless LAN networks, routing protocol s ), VoIP call managers ( e.g. Asterisk, Cisco, Alcatel Lucent), Linux OS systems .Attitude to manage integration and troubleshooting of the above disciplines.Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the a t titude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas.Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment.Availability for national a nd international business trip s .Recommended knowledge of electrical/mechanical design software ( Autocad ) and the IBM DOORS requirements management tool.Desired Skills/ KnowledgeVersatile in learning and strong desire to remain up-to-date with changes in technology and best industry practices.Strong business acumen & technical skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Attitude to work in an international and multi-cultural reality.Education & ExperienceBachelor's Engineering Degree, preferred 5 years Degree (or equivalent working experience)LanguagesFluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
