The purpose of this role is to ensure the execution of Production Scheduling for all work centers within the Parma site in the GSK Manufacturing network.

Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpage Life at GSK | GSK In this role, you will… Ensure that Production Scheduling activities occur according to a defined Standard Work/Scripted Day/Week – making certain that all critical activities happen at the right time and in the correct sequence.Ensure the execution of Labs Scheduling (0–8-week Horizon) for all the site business units.Make sure that the WH capacity is available to accommodate the production schedule.Manage and motivate a team of up to 15 Scheduling professionals at Parma GSK Site.Ensure the product flow effectiveness to guarantee a reliable supply plan.Explore any opportunity to implement the scheduling process in other areas to avoid waste and improve the reliability of the supply chain.Promote new culture behaviors and continuous improvement mindset in the scheduling areas finding out wastes to be turned into opportunitiesBe accountable for ensuring that the Conformance to Schedule (CtS) and Conformance to Release Plan (CTRP) metrics are at target and use the continuous improvement mindset to address issues.Ensure maintenance of an up-to-date capacity definition for select production work centres within MERP based on demonstrated output and CtP/CtS.Ensure execution of a pre-defined Performance Management process to ensure order fulfillment.Interact regularly with Global Planning ensuring the execution of the plan on time and in fullBe responsible for ensuring that risk assessment, risk communication and action planning are completed in accordance with our Risk Management System (RMS) within the relevant business area. Risks may be relevant to Business, Business continuity, Safety, People, Wellbeing, Compliance, Quality, Costs.Encourage high performance with integrity; enhance awareness of safety and compliance with GSK policies and procedures; and maintain an atmosphere of respect and trust, in which concerns can be fully raised.Find out wastes spread in the scheduling activities to be turned into opportunity of adding values, with a Continuous improvement mindset and methodology.Why you?Basic Qualifications & SkillsWe are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:University graduate or equivalent in an appropriate business/technical areaStrong site operations competencies managing within a complex environment, customer relationship management and performance management.Substantial experience in supply chain.Leadership and development of a team of schedulers.Good knowledge of site operations, Supply Chain processes and supporting systems within a global business environment.English intermediate userPreferred Qualifications & SkillsPlease note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:Qualification in a supply chain related discipline such as logistics, supply management, demand management, operational management, or MBA.Pharmaceutical / FMCG ExperienceStrong understanding of commercials drivers, objectives, and challenges.Strong relationship management building skills, with the ability to interact, influence, and manage multiple and varied business contacts, both internal and external, often with different requirements and goals.Understanding of political/economic/financial processes and able to construct business proposals and implementation plans.Closing Date for Applications – April 27, 2024 Please take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert.
