Forge New Frontiers: Develop groundbreaking thin film processes and applications in the areas of POWER DEVICES. Push Boundaries: Dive into semiconductor processing equipment to pioneer, research, and optimize processes, with a sharp focus on Epitaxial deposition of SiC and other emerging ultra wide band gap materials Elevate Excellence: Enhance and improve processes and reactor chambers of ASM products, setting new industry benchmarks. Building Excellence: Professionalize a world-class product development team comprising process engineers from diverse backgrounds, fostering a culture of innovation. Operational Excellence: Build up and professionalize software and hardware infrastructure to optimize process lab operations and data analysis. Showcase Mastery: Demonstrate state-of-the-art processes on SiC products to impress ASM customers and provide invaluable process data to our dynamic marketing team. Nurture Talent: Lead and cultivate a team of Process Engineers, empowering them to unleash their creativity, innovate, and develop intellectual property. Engineer Brilliance: Offer critical Process Engineering support to various arms of our organization, ensuring seamless operations. Create impact: Share your expertise by assisting in marketing, sales, and business development through presentations at customer engagements and international conferences. Key criteria for success in this role: Education: A PhD or Master's degree in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science, ideally with a thesis related to semiconductor or adjacent industries. Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience leading R&D in SiC Epitaxial thin film deposition techniques, coupled with comprehensive metrology/characterization expertise. Connect the dots: A deep grasp of the intricate interplay between hardware, software, and process performance within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Problem-Solving: A proven track record in process development, experimental design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, or reactor chamber design, with the ability to excel even under high-pressure situations. Knowledge of your surroundings: Understanding of fab facilities and utilities as well as their impact on process performance. Leadership Acumen: A minimum of 3 years of management experience, as well as a true passion for leading and growing fantastic teams Communication Mastery: Exceptional English communication skills are required to collaborate effectively in our international environment. Hands-On Approach: A sleeves up mentality when troubleshooting equipment.
