In our brand-new Agile organization within Smart Power Division, we are actively seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a proven track record in mobile applications, preferably backed by a background in DevOps, Azure, and Cyber Security. Reporting to the Digital Development Europe Chapter Leader and joining the Develop App: Device Commissioning & Configuration via Mobile Agile Team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cutting-edge applications within the Digital Agile Unit. This role specifically will focus on System & Connectivity solutions, covering IoT, Cloud platforms, SW Tools, APP, and Data Management, all based on product requirements
Your responsibilitiesOptimize designs by identifying the best technical solutions, including services, architectural choices, and technical details. The emphasis will be on maximizing integration among software applications and the hardware/smart devices they interact with.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. Automation of deployment, monitoring, and management processes will be a key focus to enhance efficiency and minimize manual interventions. Design and optimization of database structures, stored procedures, and the use of modern libraries.Verify software quality, such as code reviews, static analysis, and the use of metrics, is crucial for building reliable applications.Develop and deliver solutions that appropriately address security requirements according to Cyber Security standards and Security Development Lifecycle.Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, collaborating closely with Dev and Test Teams as a part of the Mobile software development agile team. Proficiency in the Scrum methodology, encompassing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Bugs, is expected to be improved collaborating within the agile team. Your backgroundMaster's degree in electronic/computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and proven experience in mobile, desktop, or cloud application development.Knowledge in programming languages such as Java, C#, Kotlin, Swift, or Python; knowledge of RESTful API.Familiarity with digital ecosystems like desktop or cloud application development; cloud environment (PaaS, SaaS) including analysis, configuration, and monitoring of services.Proficiency in database management, particularly in using modern libraries for efficient software development; in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.Background in DevOps practices and tools and familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; proficiency in written and verbal Italian and English.Knowledge of agile scrum methodology and familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure would be considered a plus.More about usWe look forward to receiving your application.
