Supplier Delivery Expert - Manufacturing & Supply ChainJob Number: 332892Category: -MFG & Supply Chain SBUDescription: Job Title: Supplier Delivery Advisor & Consultant - Manufacturing & Supply ChainPay Rate: $55.00-100.00/hourSubcontract Employment: 1099/LLC and/or Indirect W2Location: Remote w/ Travel within United States (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest, West)Travel: 50%+Shift: First and FlexibleAs an expert subcontracted advisor through Belcan, you will deploy to our customers as needed to support projects related to Supplier Development, Recovery, Surveillance, Quality, Delivery Assurance, and Turnaround.As critical project issues and needs for improvements or crisis intervention arise, this job will deploy to those customers. This job is a flexible, subcontract 1099 or LLC status arrangement. Great matching candidates will have strong manufacturing, engineering and/or supply chain experiences capable of both reporting and creating measurable solutions and outcomes for clients. In this job, you will be on site at customers and/or customer suppliers working to assess, mitigate, consult, identify, and administer outcomes. This job requires the ability to develop and lead proactively through problem solving to demonstrate value creation.Responsibilities Could Include:Deploy to aerospace and space clients or suppliers, often requiring extensive travel.Provide expert consultation to ensure client needs are met and projects completed successfully.Troubleshoot various issues and develop solutions.Offer advice on manufacturing, quality and supply chain processes.Conduct Value Stream Mapping, Lean initiatives, Kaizens, and cycle-time studies.Present on-site information processes, procedures, and support documentation.Conduct PFMEA analysis and recommend actions for failure prevention and correction.Perform time studies, Right the First Time (RFT) analyses, and Measurement System Analyses (MSAs).Develop and revise work instructions for new and existing parts and processes.Resolve issues in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.Communicate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.Qualifications:Over ten years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in manufacturing and supply chain, particularly in Aerospace and Space industries.Self-sufficient in representing Belcan onsite at our customers, balancing multiple interests and stakeholders.Quick and precise, with the ability to deploy/travel rapidly on short notice.Experience with OEMs in Aerospace/Automotive/Industrial sectors.Proficient in identifying and resolving manufacturing, quality, and supply chain process deficiencies.Skilled in implementing short and long-term improvements for quality, delivery, and cost reduction.Experienced in KPI management and lean methodologies for throughput and quality improvements.Hands-on shop floor experience with ability to collaborate with diverse levels within organization.Lean Six Sigma expertise.Experience with cost reduction (Should Cost, VAVE).If you are interested in this Supplier Delivery Advisor & Consultant role please apply via the 'apply now' link provided.Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $55.00 - $100.00 per hour.
