This Manager role carries the objective of enhancing supply chain efficiency, managing direct maintenance costs, and effectively handling contracts, warranties, and guarantees related to material orders.Main AccountabilitiesLead and develop one of the three Supply Chain Sections (including a minimum of 6 supply chain Specialists and Analysts, with potential future growth).Manage Vueling's aircraft materials owned inventory, focusing on optimising Direct Maintenance Costs and conducting thorough life cycle cost analysis.Oversee a team of Analysts responsible for comprehensive data analytics, including strategy analysis, KPI development, and dashboard creation for the supply chain.Lead in proactive Materials Planning, identifying trends in maintenance requirements and managing program solutions between various departments.Lead inventory control for both the Barcelona main base Warehouse and outstations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in stock management.Coordinate efficient contracts management between Procurement and Repair teams, focusing on the development of tactical contracts claims.Main Responsiilities - TasksDirectly supporting the head of the department for the set-up of new programs and procedures across all the Supply Chain sections, and in close continuous coordination with the other Supply Chain Managers.Lead additional assignments, projects, and programs related to aircraft maintenance Supply Chain Management as assigned by the head of the Department.Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork and communication, between their collaborators and the rest of the Company.Ensure adequate staffing for the section, including sourcing of Contractors, and focus on the development of all assigned personnel.Main RelationshipsDirect report to the Head of Maintenance Supply Chain.Very close collaboration with the other two Maintenance Supply Chain Managers.Cross-functional programs leadership with both internal stakeholders (mainly Technical Services, Reliability, Maintenance Planning, Finance and Contracts), and external ones (Nayak, OEMs & MROs suppliers).EducationBachelor's or Master's Degree (preferably related to Aeronautics) in either of the following domains: Engineering, Business Administration, Aviation Management,Logistics (with economics and project management skills).ExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in aircraft engineering and performance, of which aminimum of 3 years spent in the management of airline engineering data analytics,aircraft configurations, reliability and modification, including advanced business casedevelopments.Analytical, rigorous, process oriented, and proactive drive for continuous improvements.Proven experience in complex projects management.Strong leadership skills in change management.Expertise in advanced use of the AMOS Maintenance Information SystemLanguagesOtherLocationLevelVueling is the first Top Employer airline in Europe Vueling is the first European airline and the first low-cost airline in the world to obtain this certification, based on Vueling's results in the Top Employers Institute's HR Best Practices Survey, and covers six areas of human resources across 20 different topics.Every single person who works with us is unique.
