Technical Sales Engineer - Cosmetic And Detergent Ingredients - Italy

Job Description The Company: Our client is a human-sized French SME specialising in the distribution of high quality raw materials and speciality ingredients, some of which are natural, for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. Founded seven decades ago, the company values innovation and reliability and maintains long-term partnerships with global manufacturers. Its Italian subsidiary is based in Milan. Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of customers within the Personal Care/Cosmetics division, primarily in the Italian market. This position involves managing the entire customer relationship, from prospecting to closing, in close collaboration with the customer's R&D and Quality teams. Development opportunities: For a candidate who demonstrates outstanding performance and strong commitment, there is the possibility of rapid progression to the role of Subsidiary Manager, with the opportunity to lead wider strategic initiatives within the business. Desired Profile: - Advanced degree in Chemistry/Formulation. - Minimum 3 to 5 years of commercial experience in the cosmetics sector. - Excellent Italian and very good English skills required (Knowledge of French and Spanish would be an asset). - Autonomy, proactivity and ability to successfully complete projects. - Willingness to travel frequently and attend trade shows. Presence at the Milan office one or two days a week may be requested. Salary: 55,000 gross per annum + target bonus, company car and medical insurance.
