Traffic Management System is a subsystem providing a set of advanced features for railway traffic automation and regulation. It is the main Traffic Control Centre subsystem and can be scope of standalone project or platform level contract. These systems provide railway operators advanced automation and decision support functions to plan, regulate, automate and optimize the train traffic circulation on complex network. These systems are based on special software application, normally running on IT infrastructure/datacenter specially designed for business continuity and mission critical application.
POSITION OVERVIEW : The Program V&V manager is responsible to manage and coordinate System Verification, Integration and test activities
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING: Write the System Verification and Validation Plan Co-ordinate and monitor Verification and Test Activities Lead V&V internationmal team Ensure the coverage of requirements along the projects to guarantee a correct implementation Product Requirements Perform Test Campaign, analyze and validate the results, open/close possible anomalies, write the Test Reports and provide the appropriated KPI Establish the Traceability Matrix SKILLS & EDUCATION: Technical Knowledge / Experience University Degree level in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Testing inside complex and international structured organizations Minimum 2 years of experience in managing V&V team Software verification & validation methodology and processes Basic Knowledge of IT architectures (client/server, workstation/Blade, IP networking, routing and SQL databases.); English language. Desirable skills Knowledge and experience in the railway software applications. Basic knowledge of Signaling Principle and Rules. Knowledge of Traffic Supervision and Regulation Principle Cybersecurity fundamentals Test Automation Leadership Agile processes DevOps Framework The position is based in Bologna or Rome.
