Coordinate our trucking and rail trafficYour main task in this role is to be the person in charge of supporting both the truck and rail planning within a Transport Planning team of five people. As such, you need to be comfortable with below actions:
Communicate with hauliers and our Customer Service teamsManage daily operations to optimize the equipment circulation via road and railPerform costs administration and be able to escalate when necessaryArrange loading lists for train departures with focus on key customers and supplier commitmentsYou will sometimes have to work under pressure. Butit's a great opportunity to show that you can act as a great problem solver and make yourself important to your customers and to Samskip.
