Collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team, you will leverage your expertise in mixed methods research to address complex challenges, aiming to enhance user experience and guide strategic investments.
Responsibilities: Develop and refine UX research methodologies, setting benchmarks for evaluating user experiences and innovating new approaches for research planning.Conduct comprehensive research plans, offering broad market insights and deep customer understandings to inform product development.Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to derive actionable insights, identifying user needs, pain points, and opportunities for delight.Influence product development and engineering roadmaps with data-driven insights, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure user-centric product decisions.Champion the voice of the customer across the organization, facilitating impactful decisions that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.Skills and Qualifications: Expert knowledge of UX research methods and a proven ability to apply them in a technology context.Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for storytelling to effectively present research findings and influence decision-making.Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills, capable of working effectively across various teams.A growth mindset, with a passion for learning, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.Education and Experience: Advanced degree in HCI, market research, human factors, psychology, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on research techniques and human-technology interaction. Alternatively, a BA/BS in these fields with significant industry experience will be considered.Minimum of 8 years of experience in research and/or product planning within the technology industry, demonstrating a capacity for gathering and analyzing human behavioral data to inform UX improvements and product strategies.The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $68.51 to $76.12 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
