My Account OptionsWithin our Mechanical Department in the Italy office, we are looking for Utilities Design Engineer.Key duties of the role include:Develop Utilities calculations for both utilities generation and distribution systemsPrepare technical specifications, descriptions, scope of work, bill of quantities, etc. of Utilities services as Chilled, Hot, Glycolic, Softened and Potable Waters, Steam, Compressed Air, Drainage and Sewage system, including gas distribution systems, vent and safety vent systemsDevelop P&ID's in accordance with the design scope and requirementsParticipate in the design coordination with other engineering disciplinesInteract actively with the 3D modelling teams to ensure conveyance of informationCooperation with local and international consultantsPerform the Supplier's and contractor's follow-up activitiesProvide support to the construction activities when requiredEnsure compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards / practicesAble to read and interpret, HVAC and Firefighting drawings wherever requiredHere's What You'll Need: Master's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineeringTechnical background with minimum 2 years of experience in Utilities designDesign calculations experience for Utilities distribution and GenerationsFluency in English and Italian (spoken & written)Experience in both local and international projects is preferredKnowledge of national and international standard technical codes (ASHRAE, Energy and Sustainability codes, ISO standards related to the technical sector, GMP's, NFPA, FMG),Revit MEP basic knowledge and specialized collaborative platforms (BIM360, ACC, Naviswork, Revizto).Availability for business tripsFollowing capabilities will be considered a valuable plus:Experience in Pharmaceuticals and Data Centers projectsDesign software experience for Heating and Cooling loads calculation and Energy Modelling (IES, HAP), CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) Analysis.Basic Knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) & Control Systems for the Systems Testing and CommissioningPlease submit your resume in English.We know that if we are inclusive, we're more connected, and if we are diverse, we're more creative.
