About the Role As a UX Designer, you will work closely with product and engineering teams to uncover user and business needs, translating them into delightful and intuitive user-centered design solutions. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, an eye for detail and is driven to make a large impact as part of a fast growing startup. Key Job Responsibilities Create user flows, wireframes, build UI mockups and prototypes of high fidelity.Conduct user research, interviews and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.Create proof of concepts to envision how people will experience features and products.Build and maintain consistent design standards across products.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in UX design, advocate for user-centric design principles within the organization.Ensure the user interface design aligns with the overall brand guidelines and provides a cohesive user experience.Work closely with senior stakeholders in product, engineering and business to navigate ambiguity and help shape product strategy.Iterate on designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input.Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and according to specifications.Attend PMC industry conferences to learn more about our property managers, investors and residents. ABOUT YOU 3+ years experience in product design or UXProficiency with design tools like Figma (or similar tool such as Sketch)Experience designing in an agile development environmentComfortable utilizing AI, a plus if you had working experience in the application of Conversational AIBasic understanding of accessibility in designExperience with user research methodologies and usability testingStrong user empathy, with a passion for how your designs will impact themA problem solver who is hungry to learn and grow outside of your comfort zoneDon't hold your biases too closely and understand when to compromiseKnowledge of coding is a plus, with basic understanding of how your design decisions may affect engineering but not required.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisionsWe get it.
