STCW. Food & Hygiene L2. Valid Schengen Visa (for non-EU candidates). Job Description: We are looking for a 2nd Officer for this brand new 70m MY. Yacht will be cruising in the Med during summer season and in the Red Sea during winter. She will be used as private for the first season; charter operations should start in 2025. The rotation for this position is scheduled to commence after the first summer season, approximately around November 2024 (2/2). We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to take on the responsibility of supporting the Chief Mate and ensuring the seamless operation of the vessel. Ideal candidate should have extensive experience as Mate on MY of similar size, familiarity with dual-season operations in the Mediterranean and Red Sea and strong leadership and interpersonal skills, necessary to manage a diverse and service-oriented crew. Fluent English. Mixed nationality crew. Non-smoker, no visible tattoos. Total deck department: 5 (Chief Officer, 2nd Officer, Bosun, Deckhand/Divemaster, Deckhand) Total Crew: 17 Other: Male only due to cabins arrangement Salary: €5000 Leave days: 60 days per year (while permanent) Candidates based in Europe will be considered first due to easy of travel.
