For a well known company in the food industry, located in Padua, we are looking for a Food R&D Specialist. Responsibilities manages a strong pipeline of projects supporting the development of our Functional Solutions in EMEA region. Projects include ingredient testing, formula optimization, trouble-shooting and innovative concept development; carries out studies and test on technical characteristics of ingredients and the interaction between them; performs analytical tests on new ingredients/products as part of R&D projects management; support R&D Manager and Sales Manager in pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance; new products development and raw materials assessments; creates provisional data sheets; performs raw materials scouting; conducts technical training to sales force and R&D colleagues. Your Profile The Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements: a Master's Degree in Food science and technology or Food biotechnologies; at least 3-6 years of experience in medium to large structured companies operating in the food industry sector in the field of research and development;  excellent theorical and practical knowledge in functional ingredients such as emulsifiers, stabilizers, hydrocolloids, starches, fibers etc..; excellent knowledge of possible synergies between different functional ingredients; good knowledge of English language (verbal and written); willingness to make short trips in Italy and Europe. To complete the profile: problem solving capacity, positivity and enthusiasm, creativity, ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and precision and organization. #LI-MB1
