DescriptionThe Slot Technician 1 (Slot Tech 1) is responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance and repair of slot machines and gaming equipment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms preventive maintenance on all Slot Machines in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.Troubleshoots and repairs Slot Machine issues in accordance with department policies and procedures.Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and operates IGT Advantage System.Maintains proper documentation on department repair logs, shift logs, pm logs, M.E.A.L. cards, etc.Monitors sign lighting and graphics reporting any deficiencies to management.Maintains communication and cooperates with various departments by radio in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.Communicates professionally with outside vendors to open service tickets.Responds to floor calls timely and courteously.Ensures all slot machines are secure.Adheres to departmental and casino policy and procedures.Safely and effectively operates shop tools including hand tools, soldering equipment, electronic test equipment and other equipment as required.Other duties as directed by management.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor.
