Overview As an HR Operational Advisor, based in Milan, Italy, you will provide HR Generalist support to managers, employees and HR colleagues across a number of EU countries, in areas such as employment, compensation, employee relations, talent management, benefits, training, and employee/manager shared services by performing the duties personally or in collaboration with HR ColleaguesThis role reports a HR Operations Manager based in Germany and while the role supports an employee population across a number of countries there is a predominant focus on Italy. Languages required: Italian with a professional level of English.Please provide your CV in English. Responsibilities Provides consultation, guidance, and coaching to managers in areas such as:Handling employee relations matters, resolving concerns and reducing risk. Ensures issues are escalated and resolved with urgencyInterpretation and application of employment policies and practicesContribute to the implementation of HR policies and proceduresDeveloping, creating and issuing job offersAll paperwork in relation to hiring, onboarding, job changes and statutory documentsInterpreting collective agreements and providing guidanceEnsure compliance with legislation and regulations and minimize riskProviding advice and guidance to managers on a range of employment mattersDelivers services with process improvement mindset to increase effectiveness and efficiencyBuilds strong partnerships to foster trust and accountability with all stakeholders Qualifications Education:You hold a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent by experience;Experience:Good Generalist HR experience including the ability to work at both strategic and operational levelsGood knowledge of Italian employment law and application of collective agreements. Knowledge of European Directives as they apply in Europe would also be an advantage.Excellent computer skills particularly Microsoft products and HR dbasesCompetencies:Good communication skills and be able to interact with all levelsA self starter and be able to work independentlyWell organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, including having the flexibility to adjust and react to changing prioritiesLanguageItalian and English. German language would be advantageous but not essential We're actively building diverse teams and welcome applications from everyone.
