Job description We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Infrastructure Specialist to take charge of our daily Azure Cloud operations and the management of services hosted by our external partner, Weber. This role is pivotal in structuring, supervising, and fine-tuning the technical blueprint across the EMEA region, covering everything from application frameworks to computing and networking infrastructures. As the initial point of contact for our hosting provider, you'll ensure that all services are rendered as per our contractual expectations.Core Responsibilities:Oversee and fine-tune all facets of our IT infrastructure within the EMEA territory.Proactively identify any technical malfunctions and ensure they're addressed by the relevant experts.Take the helm in guaranteeing the constant availability of our IT infrastructure, as per our standards.Craft and update essential documentation and procedures for server and network management.Establish and regularly validate Disaster Recovery Plans to ensure our operations are safeguarded.Liaise with key players to pinpoint, articulate, and execute enhancements to our IT infrastructure to meet strategic targets.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to redefine our IT infrastructure availability benchmarks.Elevate the technical expertise within the IT team.Handle all information with the utmost confidentiality.Tackle additional tasks as needed to support our evolving operational demands. Requirements Must-Haves:Proficient in Microsoft Cloud services.Adept with BICEP scripting and GitHub.Comprehensive understanding of Azure Compute, vWAN, HUB networking, vNet peering, Azure Firewall.In-depth knowledge of Azure Security, policies, Microsoft Defender, and access control measures.Expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop and managing images.Familiar with Application Gateways, WAF, and SFTP Services.Solid grasp of Windows servers (2008 to 2022).Basic proficiency in Active Directory, including account management and GPO.Foundational knowledge of Azure-Arc, VMware, Hyper-V virtualization, DNS, DHCP.Elementary understanding of SQL Database management and scripting.Introductory experience with Office 365 administration.Fluent in English (B1 level), with excellent customer communication and presentation skills.Self-motivated, with a knack for meeting deadlines.Willing to travel up to 20% of the time.Desirable:PowerShell scripting experience.Familiarity with Point to Site VPN – AlwaysOn VPN.Hands-on experience with Intune and Autopilot.Cisco Certified Networking Associate or similar credentials.Experience with ServiceNOW.
