The projects could deliver more than 5.5GW of offshore wind capacity and are scheduled to be complete by the end of the decade, subject to securing consent and commercial arrangements. The partnership between the two companies is based on Renantis' in-depth knowledge of the Italian industry and energy sector, combined with BlueFloat Energy's technical expertise in floating offshore wind. Renantis and BlueFloat Energy recognize the strong potential of floating offshore wind technology in Italy for the renewable energy production, which will significantly contribute to the country's energy transition and autonomy, while fully respecting ecosystems.We are looking for an Offshore Procurement Contracts Manager willing to join our Team!Reporting to the Head of Commercial for the Italian offshore pipeline (6 sites for around 5,5 GW), you will provide Procurement Contracts Manager duties as per business processes to ensure tendering and benchmarking is managed properly, and coordinate with the project management team to make sure all procurement contracts under the designated projects are completed within the time, quality, quantity, to the right place and approved budget as set.Job Description:The role will include (but may not be limited to) the following responsibilities:Strategy: Lead and develop procurement strategy at both country and project level. Support the analysis of supply chain for acquiring equipment, services, and technologies. Investigate synergies with the Procurement Manager responsible for UK pipelineSupply chain engagement: Develop and maintain industry relationships with KEY suppliers. Stay abreast of pricing trends and emerging best practicesProcurement Management: Manage all sourcing activities for the projects. Support the process of drafting and developing procurement contracts in close cooperation with the Legal department to make sure all commercial conditions discussed and agreed with the selected suppliers during the tendering process are properly reflected and all Annexes are in place.Scoring System Management. Proving experience in setting up and manage clear and well-balanced scoring systems, assessing vendor's proposals according to the defined scoring system and keeping duly track record of the tenders.Vendor Management: Support the Commercial manager in developing supply chain market intelligence, assessing how most critical suppliers are positioning in the market, keeping records of supplier appraisals, and take direct responsibility of keeping supplier evaluations up to date.Inter-departmental Coordination: Liaise closely with internal Stakeholders (Package Managers, Construction, Service, Project Management) and the other Functional Departments (Legal / QHSE / TAX / Insurance).Contract Management: Serve as the key point of contact between the project team and contractors to ensure smooth deliveries and communication. Make sure all documents related to Variances, Official Notices and Receipt of Goods at Site and all Work and Quality Certificates for the installation are duly received, signed and archived. Provide feedback into the procurement process with lessons learned sessions, reviews of contractors' performance etc.Policies & Systems: Ambassador of Procurement procedure within the Offshore Team.
