col-wideJob Description:About the Role:Reporting to the EMEA Social Media Principal & in collaboration with internal stakeholders, the EMEA social media intern will support the Social Media team to grow and step up our social media presence in the region. The candidate will contribute to plan and execute social-first & audience-based campaigns.In this role, you will be responsible to:Maintain the social media editorial calendar, following up with content owners to make sure we meet the high-performance standards.Produce social media assets (GIFs, Cards, short videos) and draft posts that reflect the style of the brand.Support community management,monitoring, and audience engagement activities.Keep track and support the channel manager to report on quarterly performance, and ad-hoc campaigns as needed.Act as a brand champion by promoting high standards for communication practices and supporting the protection of the brand reputation.Support the team in project management and stakeholder managementWhat are we looking for in you?Positive can-do & proactive attitude, being highly creative, and with the ability to work in a team as well as independently.Master's degree in Communication, Marketing, Humanities or similar, available to sign a 6 + 6 month internship.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.Ability to multi-task, strong follow-through, attention to detail and ability to take data-driven decisions.Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop and Canva).Knowledge of the main social media platforms in use today, especially LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite.Video editing ability.Previous experience in the same role in a company or a communication agency is a plus.What we can offer to you:The right candidate will join a dynamic, stimulating, and creative team and will gain a unique hands-on experience on a broad range of social media and digital activities within the Corporate Communications team.Paid 6-month internship experience, with the possibility of further extension for 6 months.Working in an international environmentAttractive benefits packageInspirational colleagues & culturePossibility to make an impactFast growing and innovative environmentA team-oriented company cultureLocation:in our offices in Milan, on a hybrid working schedule.Starting date:April/May 2024.We, Boston Scientific, are an equal employment opportunity employer.
