Role: Technical Consultant SpecialistThe Technical Consultant Specialist is a member of the Integration and Implementation Team, a consulting unit of specialists working on different client projects. Will be required to program the client's programming requirements based on the provided specifications, and to provide system support/ technical knowledge to the project team throughout the project cycle.Main responsibilities & key accountabilities* Create technical specifications of programs/ interfaces based on functional specifications provided.* Implement the client's requirements using technologies such as ABAP/4, SAP Script, Business HTML, Java, according to the design documentation and template guidelines utilizing/ creating reusable code that is easily upgradeable/ maintainable.* Ensure that the programs/ interfaces are Unit Tested including created sufficient test data (such as employee master records) to complete scenario testing.* Support clients through the User Acceptance, Parallel Testing and Go-Live phases.* Assist with 1st level support by providing telephone support to 1st level support Consultants and client super and end users when required.* Creating web based programs using ABAP and JAVA technology.* Upgrade programs to be compatible with new releases of R/3 (such as Enterprise/ mySAP ERP).Key role competencies* Knowledge of support methodologies including use of an issue tracking system* Strong knowledge of SAP in HR/ ABAP and design/Knowledge of SAP Workplace/ Portal solutions, Web dynpro, workflow* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Client focused, demonstrate concern for meeting and exceeding immediate and future needs of clients.* Professional manner and presentation and ability to set, manage and satisfy client's expectations through personal involvement or delegation* Analytical thinking/problem solving skills – work systematically and logically to resolve problems, address opportunities or manage the situation at hand, identify causes, relationships and implications* Preferred certification in SAP Technical ConsultantWhat we offer:International business environment and opportunity to use foreign languages Work in a culture where you can achieve excellence in your career and develop to your strengthsYoung and dynamic office environment Flexible hours, benefits package, including life insurance, health insuranceFlexible Working So that you can be your best at work and home, we consider flexible working arrangements wherever possible.
